On the morning of November 11, 2024, the Multimedia Faculty of PTIT organized the talk show “Investigative Reporting: A Conversation with Journalist Đỗ Doãn Hoàng.” The event offered students practical insights into journalism and investigative reporting.

During the session, veteran journalist Đỗ Doãn Hoàng shared experiences from nearly three decades of professional experience, focusing on his pursuit of in-depth investigative stories and social issues. His firsthand experiences gave students a clearer understanding of the process of identifying story ideas, gathering information, and conducting journalistic fieldwork.
Through his engaging and approachable style, combined with candid perspectives on the profession, journalist Đỗ Doãn Hoàng also highlighted the commitment, responsibility, and professional courage required in investigative journalism, as well as the challenges that journalists may encounter throughout their careers.

The talkshow also garnered strong interest from students of the Faculty of Multimedia, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the event. Journalist Do Doan Hoang was particularly impressed by the energy and creativity of PTIT students. Reflecting on his experience, he described the session as a memorable opportunity to engage with hundreds of young students and highlighted the boundless potential of the human mind for learning and creativity.
He shared: “For the first time, I took a commemorative photo with a university class where the photographer stood on the lectern and took the picture from above. The lecturers, and especially the hundreds of young students, even arranged for me to hold flowers for the photo, as if I were the groom. As I told the students that morning, all of whom are younger than my own children, the capacity of the human brain to learn and create is vast and boundless.”
