On July 13, 2024, PTIT Open Day 2024 was held at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), attracting a large number of high school students and parents who came to explore the Institute’s learning environment, academic programs, and career opportunities.

At the Faculty of Multimedia’s exhibition area, students had the opportunity to learn more about programs in media, technology, and journalism. In addition to receiving information about academic programs and career pathways, prospective PTIT students took part in hands-on activities related to learning and digital content production.

A highlight of the Multimedia Communication program was a series of hands-on activities, including experiences as VJs and editors, podcast recording, and familiarization with professional photography and video equipment. These activities gave students a clearer picture of the learning environment and the practical skills they can develop during their studies.

Meanwhile, the Virtual Reality (VR) experience at the Multimedia Technology program attracted considerable interest from participating students. The Journalism program also introduced a converged digital newsroom model, providing a practical perspective on the production and distribution of journalistic content in today’s media environment.

The Faculty of Multimedia’s exhibition area became increasingly lively as students enthusiastically explored the equipment and took part in various hands-on activities. The event not only allowed students to discover fields they are interested in but also provided practical information to help them make informed decisions about their future academic and career paths.

Held annually for many years, PTIT Open Day serves not only as a platform for providing information and answering students’ questions about the Institute’s academic programs, but also as an opportunity to explore interests, discover personal strengths, and gain career orientation before entering university. Each year, the Faculty of Multimedia’s exhibition area remains one of the most popular destinations for visitors, reflecting its role in training creative digital professionals in Vietnam.
