Amid the excitement of the new academic year, the Faculty of Multimedia at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) organized a welcome program for D25 freshmen under the theme “Multiverse Explorers.” The event was not only the first opportunity for lecturers and students to meet, but also the beginning of a journey to explore the creative and technology-driven world of multimedia.

With a message connecting the past, present, and future, the program offered impressive technological experiences through Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) applications. Freshmen had the opportunity to explore historical settings recreated through technology, allowing them to gain a deeper appreciation of the value of knowledge, the spirit of creativity, and the potential applications of multimedia across various areas of life. These activities helped inspire a passion for learning and exploration from the very first days of their university journey.

A key highlight of the program was the “Explorer” characters, representing students of the Faculty of Multimedia. Three characters corresponding to the Faculty’s three academic programs – Multimedia Technology, Multimedia Communications, and Digital Journalism – conveyed a message of diversity and individuality while sharing the same aspiration to pioneer and create. Through these characters, freshmen were encouraged to develop their individual strengths and confidently explore and shape their own paths in a dynamic learning environment.

“Multiverse Explorers” was not merely a welcome event, but also a milestone marking the beginning of the D25 generation’s journey of growth. Embracing the spirit of “Hello Future, Hello Multimedia,” each freshman is expected to actively write their own story, pursue knowledge, technology, and creativity, and contribute to shaping a bright future in the digital era.
