The “Creating with Virtual Reality Technology 2025” Competition officially concluded in a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere, marking an exciting journey of bold, highly applicable technological ideas developed by students of the Faculty of Multimedia.

On the morning of September 25, 2025, the Faculty of Multimedia organized the final round of the “Creating with Virtual Reality Technology 2025” Competition at Hall A2, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT). The event took place in an energetic and inspiring atmosphere, showcasing the breakthrough journey of innovative and highly applicable technological ideas created by students of the Faculty of Multimedia.

With the theme “Reaching the Future with VR Technology,” this year’s competition attracted more than 30 teams from various academic programs within the Faculty. More than an academic competition, the event served as an open creative space where students could freely experiment, bring their ideas to life, and explore the potential of virtual reality technology across a wide range of fields.

From history education and tourism to fire prevention and firefighting, entertainment, and commerce, VR was approached from fresh, creative, and highly practical perspectives. Each project demonstrated not only the students’ ability to master technology but also their problem-solving mindset and responsiveness to the needs of modern society.

Following a rigorous and objective evaluation process, the judging panel selected the most outstanding projects. First Prize was awarded to team TTT for “VR Experience of the Cu Chi Tunnels – Step into the Heart of the Land of Steel,” which recreated a heroic historical setting through vivid and emotionally engaging virtual reality technology.

Second Prize went to team VietDoodle for “Virtouria,” an engaging virtual travel experience that opens up new ways for users to explore different environments.

Third Prize was awarded to team Hà “Nội” Nam Ninh for “Phuc Xa Boarding House – Lives Anchored Beneath Long Bien Bridge,” which portrayed authentic social stories through a technology-driven perspective.

In addition, two Consolation Prizes were presented to team CREATING for “Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Emergency Escape Simulation” and team FestiGO for “Vietnamese Festival Exploration Application.” Both projects demonstrated the significant potential of VR technology for practical applications in community life.

According to the judging panel, technology experts highly appreciated the students’ creativity, innovative thinking, and ability to transform ideas into practical products. The competition also demonstrated that VR is no longer a distant concept but is increasingly becoming a tangible technology incorporated into the digital products around us.

For the participants, the competition provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen teamwork skills, develop a more comprehensive product development mindset, and transform ideas into concrete projects. It also enabled each team to demonstrate its capabilities and establish its own identity in a promising field of emerging technology.

From a broader perspective, the competition introduced a wide range of creative solutions that could contribute to promoting the application of virtual reality technology in everyday life, from education and culture to social activities. In doing so, it helped make VR increasingly accessible, relevant, and practical for the wider community.

The “Creating with Virtual Reality Technology 2025” Competition once again affirmed that technology is not merely a technical tool, but also a gateway to new experiences.

From these achievements, there is every reason to look forward to a new generation of young people who dare to think, dare to act, and are ready to help Vietnam move closer to the world’s pioneering technological trends.
