After a week of learning and professional exchange, the teaching week led by Professor Lisa Scharoun, Head of the School of Design at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, came to an end on September 18, 2026. The final class gave D25 students of the High-Quality Multimedia Communication Program at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) an opportunity to present their work, receive professional feedback, and reflect on their learning experiences throughout the week.

During her teaching visit to the Faculty of Multimedia from September 14 to 18, 2026, Professor Lisa Scharoun from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, worked directly with Multimedia Communication students in the Basic Graphic Design course. The classes focused on visual thinking, visual communication design, observing structures and forms in the surrounding environment, and developing design ideas from their observations of everyday surroundings.

In the final class of the Basic Graphic Design course led by Prof. Lisa Scharoun, student groups presented their completed work under the guidance of Professor Lisa Scharoun. Through presentations and direct discussions, students had the opportunity to receive specific comments and professional feedback on developing their ideas and refining their design outcomes.

The final class took place in an engaging and open atmosphere, with students actively participating in discussions and sharing their learning experiences. Following the presentations and feedback sessions, Professor Lisa Scharoun and the students spent time connecting and taking commemorative photos, bringing the week of learning and professional exchange at PTIT to a close.

Through the teaching series, students not only gained additional perspectives on graphic design and visual communication from an international academic environment, but also had the opportunity to practice professional communication in English and experience a highly interactive approach to learning.

The Faculty of Multimedia, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), sincerely thanks Professor Lisa Scharoun and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for their time, valuable knowledge, and dedicated engagement with PTIT students throughout the week. The teaching series marked a meaningful step in strengthening academic connections and educational cooperation between PTIT and QUT. We look forward to further developing the partnership between PTIT and QUT, creating more opportunities for academic exchange and professional collaboration for faculty members and students in the future.
